Mix CD Challenge
Word up peeps. I am throwing down a mix CD challenge. I've been wanting to make a break up mix CD for ages, handy to have around for friends, family and maybe myself every once in a while. Not now, don't worry.
So far I have:
Say Hello, Wave Goodbye (David Gray)
Nothing Compares 2 U (Sinead O'Connor)
Help me out, what is your ultimate break up song?

8 Comments:
A bit of both, maybe starting with 'asshat back' ending with 'fu, single is the new black'
Anonymous is K1 by the way, I'm at work, pain to login etc.
k1 comment: 2 Tina Turner songs, Missing You and What's love got to do with it.
I hate myself for loving you - Joan Jett/Desmond Child
I love to bring Phil Collins into things... I'm gonna say
Genesis - Throwing it All Away
No Doubt - Don't Speak
And heaps of others, but I'll come back and letcha know. These things are like opening a can of worms with me!
Forever Now by Cold Chisel... always a special song, it came on the radio as I drove the "love-of-my-life-up-until-then" to the airport to fly away back to Australia...
And there's also Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots.
Watched a friend's girlfriend pack up and leave while our band was rehearsing With Or Without You... he sang it for her.. I have the tape... apols to Bono fans... but this version has PASSION! (And breaking plates!)
Oh....
Will You Miss Me Wheh You're Sober and White Roses - both by Deborah Conway and back to back on her String Of Pearls album.
*sigh*
The Commodores - Easy (but the Faith no More version was better)
Jeff Buckley - Last Goodbye
