Last early morning bootcamp tomorrow

So my last 5:45 am bootcamp is tomorrow. Who am I kidding, I'm sure I'll go to another one. I'm so sick! I'm starting my solo bootcamp next week. Maybe I'll call it Stiletto Camp, get it? God I'm funny, and hot.

I'm thinking of maybe doing the TImes Colonist 10k next spring. I am one crazy mo fo.

Who's a running machine? I'm a running machine.

So I did my first run outside of bootcamp today with a friend of mine who is 6' 4". I am a full foot shorter and almost none of that is legs. But I rocked. 7.5km of pure running pleasure! I am amazing.

My little Julie left me today. Straight into the arms of Shu. So sad. I really have to be getting more friends in Victoria, they all tend to leave me, sigh. At least I'm super cute.

Scooter time / Esther

Okay, more about me, 'cause this is what it's all about. Here is me and my scooter, her name is Esther. We have a summer romance. In the winter I don't like her so much.

Bootcamp

So many of you know I have been busting my ass a bootcamp all summer. I only have about three classes left. I've lost 6lbs (gained heaps of muscle) and 14" all over, the most being 2.5" off my waist. I've loved it, the physical changes have been great but the most rewarding part is getting my fitness level up. I can run 6km without stopping, no problem. Also it was so much fun being outside and seeing so much of Victoria.

I'm going to keep going on Saturdays but start hitting the Y pretty hard, it's only half a block from my place.

Tubing

I forgot to mention that I went tubing down the Cowichan River on Saturday with the Kick Ass Girls (www.kickazzgirls.com). They are a group of women who get together once a month and do something fun. The last thing I went to was a Kayaking trip on Salt Spring Island, I love that, this was the second year I went.

Anyway back to the tubing. You rent the tubes there ($5 for groups over 10) and float down the river for almost three hours! I was so lucky 'cause Dan from work lent me his tubing pack. A backpack with two fantastic tubes, a pump and a patch kit. It was genius! Our organizer brought a blow up dingy and a cooler so we had a floating bar!

Here is the tubing info if you're interested: http://www.rainforestexpeditions.com/tubing.php

So much fun.

The Bells, THE BELLS!

So I live right beside a big old church. Every sunday morning from 8:30-9 and 10:30-11 the bells ring. It's not super loud so it's not too bad. I've only been living here for a month though, check back in awhile to see if they have driven me crazy(er). Yes the bells are ringing while I write this.

I'm off to shop with Julie before she leaves me to run into the arms of Shu in N.

Okay Blog is the new black (for 2004)

So I'm a bit behind the times on the old blog front but all my cool friends are doing it so here we go.

The truth is I'm guilty of setting up blogs and not maintaining them so now that I am sassy and single I can stay home on Saturday nights and update them. Sigh.

So welcome. Visit often. And try the veal.
