More snow = no work!

So excited! It's better than just taking a day off work 'cause all my clients aren't sending me work and emails. It's like Christmas. I had to postpone the GDC holiday social tomorrow night. Wow.

SNOW!

I got a snow day! Too snowy to go to work, yay me. We executed operation snow day at work. We all met at a restaurant at 10 for breakfast.

K-Os and Bart Simpson

Shu and I sent to K-Os on Friday at Sugar. What a great venue! We had a spare ticket that we couldn't manage to unload which is a bummer but whatever. It was a great concert, really great to dance to. Um, yah there was a guy there that was kinda cute. Once the room started heating up he took off one of his shirts... the shirt under that one had Bart Simposon on it. I'm sorry to say but what a huge turn off. To all the boys out there only wear novelty shirts when you are in a relationship and/or never want to have sex again. My two cents.

So cafe chic

So I'm finally doing it, blogging from a cafe. The service is way better here than at home. The woo is gonna meet me soon. I'm enjoying a trail mix cookie, a jasmine tea and msn with shu. It's really ugly outside. I think I'm gonna do this more.

Remember when we were young

So Shu just uploaded a pic of a lamp I made at the ripe old age of 17 for my then very new friend Geoff's 18th b-day. 11 years later, a trip across Canada, living over seas, raising children etc. I can't even imagine doing a project like that now. I know all of you think I'm a super freak for re-upholstering my couch and what not but come on... a leg lamp! It was fantastic. I remember hunting down the leg, and convincing the store to sell me just the leg. Getting the shoe off my old boss Dez who had about a million pairs of stilettos. Wiring the lamp and making the base at my Dad's house, it was good times. I have to mention that Geoff made me a great coffee table for my 18th that is still at my mom's house.

Ummm, Geoff, do we need to put out a challenge for 30th b-days?
